Help Shape Our Poverty and Social Security Lived Experience Group

Disabled people in Scotland are more likely to experience poverty than non-disabled people. Cuts to vital support, rising costs, and barriers to fair social security make everyday life harder.

At Inclusion Scotland, we believe disabled people should have a direct say in the policies that affect their lives. That’s why we are relaunching and refreshing our Poverty and Social Security Lived Experience Group. This group brings disabled people together to share experiences, highlight barriers, and influence policy and decision-making.

We want the group to work for you, so we’re asking for your input. Please take a few minutes to complete our short survey and tell us:

  • How the group should work
  • What topics you want to discuss
  • What would help you take part

Your feedback will shape how the group runs and what it focuses on.
