We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for new members to join the Access to Elected Office Fund Scotland (AEOFS) Decision Panel.
AEOFS provides financial and practical support to disabled people running for party selection and standing as candidates in Scottish Parliament and local council elections. The Decision Panel plays a vital role in reviewing award recommendations submitted by Inclusion Scotland, ensuring funding decisions are fair and reflective of the barriers disabled candidates face.
We are looking for new panel members with:
- Lived experience of disability
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Some awareness of disability access issues
- Previous board or panel experience (desirable but not essential)
- Availability of 1–2 hours per fortnight to review award recommendations
