As Chair of Inclusion Scotland, Kim brings a fierce commitment to human rights, intersectional equality, and social justice. She believes passionately that disabled people must be at the heart of designing the policies, services, and systems that impact their lives.

Kim’s leadership is grounded in both professional expertise and deep community roots. In her day job as the CEO of DG Voice, she champions the rights of disabled people across Dumfries and Galloway. Her strategic influence spans multiple sectors, ensuring disabled voices are heard at the highest levels of governance. She serves as a Board Member for her local NHS Board, chairs the Dumfries and Galloway Integration Joint Board, and helps drive national change as a Commissioner for the Poverty and Inequality Commission.

Kim understands that disability rights are deeply connected to broader social issues. Her passion for intersectionality shapes her extensive voluntary work, which includes serving on the boards of the Poverty Alliance and the Mill SCIO in Gatehouse of Fleet. With a strong professional background spanning business, finance, risk, and compliance, Kim combines sharp strategic governance with activist passion to dismantle systemic barriers.

Through her varied roles in the third, public, and private sectors, Kim continues to fight for a fairer, more inclusive Scotland. When she isn’t advocating for systemic change, Kim recharges her energy by travelling and attending live rock concerts.
