Job crafting enables employees to proactively shape their roles to better match their strengths and interests, improving job satisfaction, productivity, and wellbeing.
In partnership with the University of Strathclyde, a multidisciplinary team will work together to access whether job crafting can help individuals with disabilities or health conditions to remain in work.
Disability Employment Gap (University of Glasgow and other DPOs – Scotland)
Rooted in co-production with disabled people and in partnership with disability organisations, this research, led by Glasgow University and funded by The Robertson Trust, offers applied academic and policy knowledge to address the disability employment gap (DEG) in Scotland. Inclusion Scotland is on the coproduction group along with other DPOs and disability organisations, and has helped to populate the Voices of Lived Experience advisory group and advise on accessible research practices.
Inclusion Scotland is a core participant in the UK Covid- 19 Inquiry. We have given oral evidence, provided statements based on our members experiences and co-authored recommendations and proposed actions for Scottish Government ministers to protect disabled people in the next pandemic. We are also key members of the Covid Inquiry Response and Engagement Group sometimes referred to as CIREG.
