Help Us Shape Inclusive Health and Social Care for LGBTQIA+ Disabled People in Scotland
At Inclusion Scotland, we recognise that the intersection of LGBTQIA+ identities and disabilities can create unique challenges in accessing health and social care services. To address these challenges, we are conducting two important surveys—one for LGBTQIA+ disabled individuals and another for health and social care support providers.
For LGBTQIA+ Disabled Individuals: Are you an LGBTQIA+ disabled person living in Scotland? Your voice matters. With support from the NHS, the Scottish Association for Social Work, and researchers at Glasgow University, we’re gathering insights on your experiences with health and social care services.
By participating in this survey, you will help us create a toolkit with targeted recommendations for health and social care support providers. Our goal is to advocate for more inclusive and equitable care that meets the needs of our diverse community.
As a token of our appreciation, survey participants are eligible to enter a prize draw to win one of two £50 vouchers of your choosing.

Deadline for survey responses: 17 February 2025.
For Health and Social Care Support Providers: Your expertise is essential in shaping a system that meets the needs of LGBTQIA+ disabled individuals. This survey explores current practices, identifies challenges, and seeks opportunities for improvement.
The findings will contribute to a comprehensive toolkit with recommendations for better care delivery, benefiting not only LGBTQIA+ disabled people but also other marginalised groups, including ethnic minorities and neurodiverse individuals.
