Inclusion Scotland is very pleased to announce a new funding opportunity for Scottish Disabled People’s Organisations (DPOs) responding to disabled people’s needs in the pandemic.
The DPO Covid-19 Emergency Fund has been provided by the National Emergencies Trust and is being administered by Inclusion Scotland along with other national DPOs in the other UK nations.
The fund is now open for applications and the deadline for applications is Monday 5 October. Please read the detailed guidance for applicants and visit Disability Action’s website to access the online application form. The application guidance is also available in Easy Read format. Information about the application process is provided in British Sign Language via video at the end of this post.
Funding is for DPOs to deliver short term Covid-19 related projects to meet the needs of disabled people. Projects should begin in November and be completed by the end of June 2021 (8 months maximum). The minimum funding is £1,000 and the maximum is £25,000.
There will be webinars and other support for DPOs applying to the fund. Please contact us if you have any questions by emailing DPOFund@inclusionscotland.org or calling 0131 370 6725 (TYPE TALK calls welcome).
