The Scottish Government want to know how they should use their new powers over disability benefits. Inclusion Scotland and Advocating Together (Dundee) SCIO are hosting a free and accessible event where we’ll share information about the new powers and give you the opportunity to have your say.
We’ll have a special focus on advocacy. Having your say in day-to-day life – about your benefits or other challenges – might be easier if you have an advocate to support you. We want to know how important you think advocacy is, what you think about your local advocacy services, and what the Scottish Government needs to do to make sure you get the right support to access benefits.
This event is for disabled people, their organisations and supporters in Dundee and the surrounding area.
- Lunch will be provided.
- Reasonable travel costs can be reimbursed on request.
