Job opportunity: People-led Policy (Social Care Support) Project Development Worker (Highland)
Salary: £24,459 p.a. pro rata for 17.5 hours per week (part-time), plus 8% pension contribution
Contract: Until 1 July 2019, extension subject to further funding
Location: Highland (Dingwall/ Inverness tbc)

Inclusion Scotland is seeking an enthusiastic individual to support the delivery in Highland of a new flagship project, placing people who use Adult Social Care Support at the heart of policy developments. Working closely with the People-led Policy Officer based in Edinburgh, this post will help recruit people with diverse lived experiences of using social care support in Highland to join new national engagement structures, promote the project in Highland, ensure capacity-building needs are met, keep records and contribute to reports.
We are looking for someone with experience of collaborative working, excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, and understanding of the barriers disabled people face.
Project and post funded by Scottish Government.
Interviews will be held in Dingwall/Inverness on Thursday 14 June 2018.
