Membership of Inclusion Scotland is open to organisations which support our aims and values. Our work is based on the social model of disability, independent living and human rights. Membership is free.
There are 3 types of membership for organisations.
Disabled people’s organisations Disabled people’s organisations or DPOs are organisations that are led by disabled people. That means that the majority of people on the governing body are disabled people. If your organisation is this type of organisations then you can apply to be a Full Member. Please note that if you are applying as a Full Member your details and constitution will be taken to our governing body for approval, we will be in touch separately with confirmation of your membership if it has been approved by our board.
Other disability organisations This means any organisation that works primarily with disabled people but is not led by disabled people. If your organisation is this type of organisation then you can apply to be an Affiliate member.
Other organisations If your organisation is not a DPO or a disability organisation then you can apply to be an Associate member.
