Inclusion Scotland has conducted and commissioned a lot of our own research. Most recently, for example, our well respected research on the impacts of welfare reform was published in 2014. We also often do research when we engage with our disabled members.
More and more, we have been working towards a co-production model of research. This means working in partnership with people about whom the research is conducted, planning it and completing it together. For example, our new Disability Research on Independent Living and Learning (DRILL) programme is a Four Nation Research Project which delivers the world’s first major research programme led by disabled people.
