Membership of Inclusion Scotland is open to organisations which support our aims and values. Our work is based on the social model of disability, independent living and human rights. Membership is free.
There are 3 types of membership for organisations.
Disabled people’s organisations Disabled people’s organisations or DPOs are organisations that are led by disabled people. That means that the majority of people on the governing body are disabled people. If your organisation is this type of organisations then you can apply to be a Full Member.
Only DPOs as full members are entitled to:
- Vote on resolutions at the AGM
- Nominate people to be Members of Inclusion Scotland’s Board
Please note that if you are applying as a Full Member your details and constitution will be taken to our governing body for approval, we will be in touch with information on when your application will be taken to our board.
